Sky fall gets censored in China


The movie Skyfall is in theater across china with some scenes censored and amended subtitles. 

Latest James Bond Movie Sky fall is been partly set in Shanghai and Macau. Scenes which are been subject to censorship in china are the shots where Chinese character being killed and dialogue referring to prostitution and politics.
According to Media reports the missing scene was set in Shanghai, where a French hit man is shown shooting a Chinese security guard in the lift lobby of a skyscraper. Also in the film features a casino in Macau, where James bond (Daniel Craig) questions Severine (Berenice Marlohe) regarding her tattoo, whether it is a mark that she was being forced into a local prostitution ring before. Even though the soundtrack has not been changed the subtitles has been changed to give a meaning that James bond is questioning whether she is being forced into a mob ring. There had also been few other areas where the subtitles have been changed in a minor scale.

Sky Fall was originally planned to release in China in Novemberhowever was delayed by the authorities giving space for locally produced movies which were released in November
