The age of people who travel raises with every year. Travel companies say that there are more and more clients among 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. Such travelersneed special approach but it is not difficult to plan excursion for seniors.
Some travel coordinators say that they have always had senior travelers because now seniors have time for travelling. Usually they started their career when they were 30’s, worked all the time having no time for vacation and now with some free time and good health, senior travelers are ready to taste a life.
While making a plan for mature audience, limit of time has to be taken into account because of these people still being occupied. Most people of 50 and 60 years are still busy and have a job but have several days for their leisure time.
For older travelers safety is very important, so while choosing a route, priority has to be given to more stands at night. It is better to choose tour where at least two nights will be at the same hotel. First of all, people will have more time to see a city and secondary it is not so stressful for health.
Senior travelers can be divided into two groups: ‘senior’ seniors and ‘younger’ seniors. The first group is the people over seventy years old. What is interesting is that people from the second group who are over fifty don’t really want to travel with people from the first group.
Older people want to have more measured route. For such age groups there are special tours where they can visit places they can be interested in. But it doesn’t mean that they are boring. A traveler of every age may join it, so it is made in a way to satisfy everyone.
